Description: Pearson Author and Statistics Instructor Michael Sullivan will show Simulation and Randomization techniques that you can use to incorporate Simulation-Based Inference into your Introductory Statistics course. StatCrunch, Pearson’s data analysis tool, provides enabling tools to help you incorporate these techniques and Michael will share best practices that he’s used in his classroom.

Description: Join George Woodbury, math instructor at College of the Sequoias as he discusses strategies for promoting student progression and achievement through effective development of the affective domain in collegiate math. George will share his thoughts on the intersection of these key skills with student persistence and success and examine activities and assignments that you can use to help students leverage these skills in their course work.
